Squib Southern Championships 9-10 September

A huge thanks goes out to Race Officer Jeremy Spencer-Cooper for organising a tremendous weekend in spite of very flukey and difficult wind conditions. In addition we need to mention and thank Bembridge Sailing club for lending us their committee boat Sea Breeze.

The Y & Y report details all 5 races and has videos of all 5 starts plus some close up vidoes of the leeward mark where close quarter rounding made for some great spectator sport.

A very large thank you goes to all the volunteers who make the RVYC events so special. From Jane Barrett Bellingham Vice Commodore and chief events coordinator to, all the mark layers and Danny Watson's team in the Galley, it was a superb team effort.

Helen Vrba RVYC Commodore gave out the half model winners trophy to Aquabat helmed by Dan Henderson (Portsmouth Sailing Club) and crew (Steve Warren-Smith RVYC).
