The Club Bar and Catering

We are delighted to announce that RVYC have engaged the services of Gunars as House Manager and a new chef, Christian. He and Gunars will be working on new food offerings and making the most of our wonderful island, local produce. They will be ably supported by Roxy as Bar Manager with Inna assisting her.

From April 2025 the bar and galley will be open on :

Wednesday 11am to 10pm

Thursday 11am - 5pm - Closing times may vary depending club sailing events - check calendar if you have a particular date in mind

Friday 11am to 10pm

Saturday 11am to 6pm - Closing times may vary depending club sailing events - check calendar if you have a particular date in mind

Sunday 11am to 5pm (serving Sunday roasts - pre-booking recommended).

Board games and cakes on Friday afternoon from 2 till 4.30pm plus Firepit Fridays if the weather is clement.

It is recommended (but not essential) that members and visitors pre-book for meals as this helps with ensuring we have appropriate catering supplies. Messages can be left on our office answerphone 01983 882325 or an email sent to Gunars at houseman@rvyc.org.uk.

We have a new club mobile number which is 07928 980448 and members can also use this number for bookings.

There's a new Whatsapp group for announcements to events about events linked to this number - you can sign up for this via the QR code displayed on the bar.

We are also available for private hire - birthdays, wedding anniversaries, wakes and celebrations of life. Contact office@rvyc.org.uk to request information.
