Its been a busy Summer at the RVYC !

Champagne sailing over the weekend of 8/9 th September 2018 bought a very busy summer sailing season to a climax with the Merrydown Regatta 2018. Over 48 boats jostled for positions for coveted trophies with 6 races on the water and shore-side entertainment kept the non-sailors happy. A very big thank you to Luke Sheridan, Steve Sheridan and Brian Thompson who took out groups of young Cadets so that they could experience racing, most of them for the first time. Much appreciated! It was a tricky race with very strong tides, but the lovely sunny weather meant that it was great fun nonetheless. Brian's boat, crewed
