IW Youth Dinghy Championships 2022
Well that was a great day on the water !
With light winds forecast and a fleet of 35 boats , race officers Steve Sheridan and his team did incredibly well to battle with tide and complete 3 races for the first of the IW Youth & Junior Championship series events .
Sailors were represented from Brading Haven ; Gurnard and Yarmouth Sailing Clubs and it was fabulous to see the largest numbers out in the ILCA fleets . Close racing on the water and with 1 discard meant that podium places were closely fought for .

Everyone enjoyed a great shoreside BBQ after the event and our thanks to all from the RVYC dream team both on and off the water for such a successful day .
