Platinum Jubilee Celebrations

Planning is well underway for the club's Platinum Jubilee celebrations next month.

On Saturday 4 June, we'll be holding a special regatta, with :

• A long-distance race for cruisers
• Three races for Squibs and handicap dinghies
• Separate starts for Scows and novice fleets

The first start is at 2pm. Any expressions of interest to rcs@rvyc.org.uk

This will be followed by a BBQ from 5pm and a prizegiving at 6pm. We're delighted to have sponsorship for the regatta prizes from Mermaid Gin and the IW Distillery, so as well as trophies, there will be some special keepsake prizes too.

We'd like to thank our friends at Mermaid for their kind sponsorship.

On Sunday 5 June, we're holding a BIG LUNCH at 12.30pm. This will be a special served buffet. Look out for more information throughout May on Jubilee social events and prices.

After the lunch and by popular request following its spectacular success at our 175^th celebrations last year we're repeating out fabulous sail-past and salute. All boats are welcome, from cruisers to kayaks and everything in between. Please see attached instructions regarding timings & muster points .
