The Club Bar and Catering

Since Spring 2025, management of both the Club Bar and Galley has returned to the Club itself following several years of different concession arrangements. Our House Manager, Gunars, and Bar Steward, Jonty, are assisted on occasion by Club member volunteers. We take pride in offering seasonal menus and a selection of guest ales as well as a range of popular dishes available all year round. Isle of Wight produce is used whenever possible.

The Bar and Galley opening times for the current month are shown below. Please note that the Clubhouse is closed on Mondays all year round. In the quiet season, it is normally closed on Tuesdays as well.

To assist with our provisioning arrangements, members and visitors are kindly requested to pre-book meals whenever possible. Please call the Club landline 01983 882325 during opening hours or leave a message on the answerphone. Alternatively, email Gunars at houseman@rvyc.org.uk.

WhatsApp Group - we warmly invite all members and visitors to join our Royal Victoria Yacht Club Announcements WhatsApp group to stay informed about upcoming events both on and off the water as well as to receive updates on menus. If you are a prospective visitor, please mention whether you will be arriving by boat or by road.

Private Hire our Clubhouse, together with its extensive lawns and wonderful situation on Wootton Creek with views to the Solent and mainland, is available for private hire throughout the year. Members and non-members are very welcome to book events for large or small groups with appropriate catering. Recent bookings have been for weddings, celebrations of life and anniversaries as well as business meetings.
