The Outgoing Commodore, Mr. Tony Pope was presented with the ex Commodore's Club Burgee and a picture of his Boat – Mad Hatter. In his speech he commented:

'It has been without a doubt an honour and privilege to have served as your Commodore for the last 3 years. The club is not run by individuals, but by the committee members and volunteers who relentlessly give up their spare time to make the club such a success. I thank you all for making the Royal Victoria Yacht club the friendly, open and welcoming club that it is.
