    Almost 40 RVYC sailors were fortunate to have a weather window between the first named storm of the season, Angus, and the following low-pressure system, which coincided with the tide and daylight hours, and so Frostbite 4 went ahead at 2pm on Sunday.     Race Report 13 Nov 2016

    Frostbite 3- Cruiser 4 On a beautiful sunny Autumn day with a keen N-NW wind blowing between 10-15 knots, 32 sailors engaged in a full morning of sailing.     Barrel Race Report

    BARREL RACE 23 October 2016. 20 boats were tempted to have a go at the Barrel Race, only 12 boats completed it due the challenging conditions.     Rear Commodore House - Summer Report

    As the sun shone and the days became longer, The House Committee ensured that the sailing energy, enthusiasm and fun continued off the water. The social season started with the Fitting Out Supper in March; the Commodore's Cocktail Party in May; Celebrations to mark the Queens 90 th birthday and a Magical Summer Ball in June and finished with the family and club fun of the Merry down Regatta in early September.

    Squib End of Season Regatta 2016

    On Saturday the 15th October eight of the RVYC Squib fleet took to the water to compete in the Squib End of Season Regatta 2016. Three races were to take place with all of them counting towards the final score meaning consistency was needed for success. As the competitors arrived the wind was looking extremely light.
