  • Island Games Fundraiser Barn Dance : 8th February 2019

    Tickets are available at the bar for this fundraising event being held at the Club on February 8th. As well as being great fun , you will also be helping support the Island Games Sailing Team which includes several of our own sailors! So get your cowboy boots dusted off and come on down.

    Cadet Registration : 11th January 2019

    It feels like only yesterday that we were at the Cadet Laying Up Supper and reflecting on the 2018 season . The winter social sessions have been great fun but it's now time to get back into the sailing zone with our registration for the Cadet season 2019 .     RVYC Annual Prize Giving : 16th December 2019

    Lovely to see so many of you here for the RVYC Annual prize giving and great to have the last Frostbite race with such a turnout on the water ! Now we can all have a rest until the Commissioning Cup on March 24th 2019 ! Big shout-out to Martin Harrison who agreed to be our PRO for this series and we were delighted to have the use of SVYC's committee boat, Penguin.

    Frostbite Race report : 25th November 2018

    RVYC's Frostbite series race officer, Martin Harrison, planned three races last Sunday in the hope of catching up on the events lost of the weather earlier in the series. There was a good turnout in the chilly F5 north-easter blowing straight into the Creek. There were a couple of early casualties in the blustery and lumpy conditions.     Frostbite Race Report : 11th November 2018

    After a delayed start to the 2019 due to adverse weather, the RVYC's frostbite races got off to a flying start . Series race officer, Martin Harrison got two races in last Sunday in spite of a couple of rain squalls bringing with them over 20 knots of wind for a time.   • Frostbite Series to start on Sunday 11 November 2018

    The Frostbite series was due to start on 28 October but strong gusty north-easterly winds led RO Martin Harrison to cancel the opening races. The first races will now be on Sunday 11 November with a 1300 start. This year there are races for all classes until 16 December . Committee boat starts for all dinghies and dayboats and free dinghy park storage for visiting racers. Race documents can be downloaded on
