Commissioning Cup : Race report
It was great to welcome 16 sailors on the water on Sunday for our Commissioning Cup . Jason's Lawrence and JJ in their new boat Orca joined the cruiser section with Strider for a course set to run just shy of 50 minutes . The all class start for the dinghies saw some close competition in near perfect conditions with the winners of the Ian Vallender Commissioning Tankard - Bruce Cockerell

Adult Sailing is back !
We'll again be running the Adult Sailing Course on Wednesday evenings from April to August 2022 The purpose of the course is to provide a regular supervised sessions to all adult club members, but particularly those members who are either new to sailing or don't have other regular sailing opportunities. Burns Supper
Can I please pass on a huge thanks to our House Committee and the Catertemp team for such a wonderful Burns Night Supper on Saturday. Foiling at the RVYC
The latest and fastest form of dinghy sailing is foiling and RVYC now has five Waszps and one Moth. These boats are becoming more popular and accessible and our foilers plan to start racing at RVYC in 2022. At BHYC we are looking forward to the open Icebreakers series, we welcome sailors from other Island Clubs to enter.
