14 of our younger cadets took part in an exciting fundraiser in support of Sport Relief last Friday at Landrover BAR HQ in Portsmouth . It was a high energy event with our team on the spin bikes for 2 slots of 30 minutes with Rob Da Bank 's tunes keeping us going . Over 85,000 pounds was raised at the event and the cadets and their parents ( plus the commodore in a green wig ) did the club proud .
Britains Americas Cup Challenger, Landrover BAR was supporting Sport Relief by hosting a 24hr 'grindathon' using spin bikes at the teams Portsmouth HQ . Throughout the challenge the team will be looking to 'power the tower'; Portsmouth's iconic Emirates Spinnaker Tower will light up blue over the 24-hour period, as the clock counts down to 2200 on Friday. Many thanks to Wightlink for their sponsorship to enable us to take part
