We
now have a new on-line booking system for our training courses.
How
it works, below you will find all the courses we currently have on
offer with a description of what the course entails. When you have
decided which course you want to reserve, click the Book this Course
button, this will take you through the booking process.
You will
then receive an email which you will need to print out and
sign. You will need to take or send this print out to the RVYC along
with your course fee. Your place will then be confirmed on the course.
RYA Safety Boat courseThis
two-day course provides the skills required when acting as an escort
craft, safety boat or coach boat for a fleet of dinghies, windsurfers
or canoes, or for racing or training activities. It includes
rescue techniques and elements of race management and mark laying.

RYA Powerboat Level 2 course
This course is now full, to be included on a waiting list please email rvyctraining@gmail with the subject Powerboat Level 2 and your name. We will then let you know if any spaces become available.
This
two-day course provides the skills and background knowledge needed to
drive a powerboat and is the basis of the International Certificate of
Competence.

| RYA Dinghy Racing Level 2 Coach course
What experience do you need to be a Level 2 Coach? RYA Racing Coach Level 2 Definition: ‘A
qualified RYA Racing Coach Level 2 is a good club racer with personal
knowledge of club and/or regional racing and a broad basis of coaching
skills. They will be able to deliver and award Start, Intermediate and
Advanced Racing where appropriate, working at affiliated clubs or

RYA
Powerboat Trainers are experienced RYA Advanced Powerboat Instructors
who have been trained and assessed as being suitable to train and
assess others to all levels within our National Powerboat Scheme.
